In 2013, the Vidal family founded The Merchant of Venice – a luxury, artistic perfume brand inspired by the centuries-old perfumery tradition of Venice. The brand’s fragrances evoke the historic trade routes of the Serenissima, the so-called ‘Mude’, which allowed us to access the rarest and most precious essences from faraway lands.
The collections stand out for the elegance of the Murano glass bottles, works of art that hold modern reinterpretations of ancient blends. Beyond perfumes, the brand promotes olfactory culture with the Museo del Profumo in Palazzo Mocenigo as well as through sensory workshops in the heart of Venice.
In December 2023, Garage Raw had the privilege of joining The Merchant of Venice’s ten-year anniversary celebrations with the production of a photo shoot and emotional video in Venice. The goal was to portray the brand’s essence and cultural heritage, combining sophistication and tradition in a timeless celebration.
